Objective: To observe the therapeutic effectiveness of Aescine in the treatment cerebral hemorrhage. Methods: We chose 32 cases comfirmed diagnosis of cerebral hemorrhage ( 20 male, 12 female) aged from 14—90 years ( 66 in average). Patients whose amount of bleeding was less than 30 ml were given Aescine 25mg q.d. And patients whose amount of bleeding more than 30 ml were given Aescme 25mg Bid. The therapeutic course was 14d. Results: The cure rate vas 63.5%and the effective rate vas 36.5%showed by CT. And the cure rate was 89.26%and the effective rate was 10.74%showed by symptons and physical signs. The patients of this grpup had no reactions. Couclusion: Aescine is a kind of effective and sate drugs with less side reactions to treat cerebral hemorrhage. And it had low price, so it will be a new drug to treat cerebral hemorrhage.
